Will my hair get caught in it?

The barrel only turns while you hold the button down. The moment you let go, it stops. So if a section ever grabs more than it should, you release the button and ease your hair straight back out. You are always in control of the rotation.

How long do the curls last?

That depends more on your hair and your prep than on any tool. Style on dry hair, use a smaller section, and let each curl cool in its shape before you touch it. Cooled curls hold far longer than rushed ones. Fine hair holds best on a lower heat, and a light mist of hairspray after cooling helps it last through the day.

Will it work on my hair type?

Fine hair: yes, keep the heat low and sections small. Long or thick hair: yes, but it takes more sections and a little more time; the curl still forms. Very resistant, poker-straight hair holds the shortest, so let it cool fully before you move.

How hot does it get? Will it damage my hair?

It has adjustable heat settings, so you choose the lowest temperature that curls your hair rather than blasting it. The tip stays cool to hold. As with any heated tool, use the lowest effective setting and a heat protectant to look after your hair.

How long does a full head take?

A few minutes once you have the rhythm. Longer the first time, and longer for very long or thick hair. Because the barrel does the turning, you are not fighting the wrist movement between sections.

I am genuinely useless with hair. Will I manage it?

This was made for exactly that. You rest a section against the barrel and press a button; the tool does the rotating that a manual wand leaves to you. Both sides, and the back you could never see.

What if it does not work for me?

You have 60 days. Use it, and if it does not finally let you do your own hair, send it back for a full refund.
